Get more build or load testing capacity

Your Visual Studio Online account includes these monthly limits for build and load testing:

  • 60 minutes per month for build
  • 15,000 virtual user minutes per month for load testing

These limits are shared across your account, but you can buy more capacity. Get pricing info.

  1. If you haven't already, set up billing for your Visual Studio Online account through Azure.

  2. Go to the Azure Management portal. Sign in with the account that was used to set up billing.

  3. Choose your Visual Studio Online account.

    Only the Azure subscription owner or an Azure administrator can access your account in the portal.

  4. Go to the scale page.

  5. Go to scale page to manage licenses or resources
  6. Choose PAID for build, load testing, or both. You won't be charged until your resource use goes above the free monthly limits.

  7. Save your changes when you're done.

  8. To check your account's resource use, go to your account's dashboard in Azure:
